Documentary Sequences

Over the years of my career I have been lucky enough to work with the lovely and talented team at Fluid Pictures, producing animation for several broadcast documentaries.

For all of the productions each shot was taken from start to finish by an individual artist.  I would sit with the director and discuss the audio script for the shot, mark key timings for set animations to occur and make notes of specific details that needed to be shown.   I would then model any assets needed, vehicles, landscapes etc and block out the camera moves according to the audio.  At this point I could start to animate any key actions before preparing the shot for rendering.  Each shot would have a turn around time of 2-3 working days.
